Las Vegas Casinos With the Best Parking

Several Vegas casinos offer free or validated parking, which is rare in Las Vegas. The Durango Casino & Resort provides free parking in both its garage and surface lots, with no conditions, making it a great choice for parking; the only downside is that it's off the Strip. At the Main Street Station Casino, guests get validated free parking if they spend $30 or more dining at any Boyd property.

Hotel guests staying at Boyd hotels receive free parking included with their stay. These options can save visitors a lot of money when comparing parking fees across the city.

A list of top casinos known for their parking benefits is:

  • Durango Casino & Resort (free garage and surface lot)
  • Main Street Station Casino (validation with $30+ dining)
  • Station Casinos properties
  • Circus Circus

Free Self-Parking Casinos on the Las Vegas Strip

On the Las Vegas Strip, a few casinos still provide free self-parking, which is unusual considering that the typical daily parking fee ranges from $15 to $18. The following properties currently offer complimentary self-parking:

  • Treasure Island
  • Circus Circus
  • Sahara Las Vegas (Paradise Road garage)
  • The Venetian Resort (subject to change)
  • Casino Royale
  • Fashion Show Mall

The Tropicana also offers free parking exclusively for hotel guests. Sahara Las Vegas and Circus Circus are two of the most consistent free options along Las Vegas Boulevard, making them good choices for visitors who want to save money on parking.

Circus Circus

Circus Circus is one of the few Las Vegas Strip hotels that still offers free self-parking to its visitors, setting it apart from other Strip resorts that have moved to paid parking models. Situated on Las Vegas Blvd, the property's parking structure provides convenient access for casino guests without needing a parking validation or minimum spend.

Treasure Island

Treasure Island's self-parking garage provides free parking for the first three hours for all visitors. After that, standard self-parking costs $18 per day, while valet parking is priced at $26 daily. On the Las Vegas Strip, vehicles that are oversized have to pay a higher rate of $36 per day. The garage operates 24 hours a day and has 632 parking spaces, along with four elevators, electric vehicle charging stations, complete lighting, and security cameras.

The parking amenities make it one of the better options for parking near the middle section of the Strip.

Rio Las Vegas

Rio Las Vegas provides free parking to all visitors, including both self-parking and valet options. Unlike other properties on the Las Vegas Strip, which may charge up to $25 per day for self-parking, Rio does not require any spending or rewards tier to enjoy this benefit.

However, it is always a good idea to check directly with the property before your visit to get the most up-to-date and accurate information.

SAHARA Las Vegas

SAHARA Las Vegas provides free self-parking and valet parking for hotel guests at two garage entrances located on:

  • Las Vegas Blvd
  • Paradise Road

The SAHARA Las Vegas is one of the more straightforward free parking policies on the Las Vegas Strip. Unlike other properties that have tier-based parking rules or require parking fees, SAHARA does not require guests to be part of a rewards program or make a minimum purchase to qualify for this perk.

The STRAT Hotel and Casino

Positioned at the north end of the Las Vegas Strip, The STRAT Hotel and Casino provides free self-parking for Nevada residents with a valid Nevada license plate, no matter their membership level. True Rewards members who are Solid status or higher also get complimentary parking. However, during special events, free parking might not be available.

Unlike other Strip hotels that charge up to $25 daily for parking, The STRAT keeps costs low for locals and qualifying rewards members.

Las Vegas Casinos With Free Parking for Locals

Several casinos on the Las Vegas Strip provide free parking for local residents. Park MGM gives free parking for up to three hours to local residents through self-parking. Similar to Park MGM, the Palazzo provides free parking to locals who use self-parking, but not valet.

How to Qualify as a Local for Casino Parking Benefits

Qualifying for free parking usually involves showing a valid Nevada driver's license at the garage exit. At places like Park MGM, local residents can enjoy up to 3 hours of complimentary self-parking. Similarly, Caesars Entertainment offers the same benefit at properties such as Planet Hollywood. The rewards tier also plays a role; both MGM Rewards Pearl level members and Vegas locals can get free self-parking access.

Which Nevada ID Documentation Is Typically Required

A valid Nevada driver's license is needed for most properties on the Strip. For MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment locations, such as Vdara Hotel and Mandalay Bay parking facilities, locals must show their license at the garage exit to get free parking time.

How Long Is Free Local Parking Usually Valid

Free local parking on the Las Vegas Strip is usually limited to 3 hours per visit for Nevada residents. Places like Vdara, The Venetian, and W Las Vegas follow this rule, but you need to show your ID to qualify. This time limit is meant for short stays, not all-day parking. At Resorts World, complimentary local parking depends on your Genting Rewards status.

You can get free parking if you're at the Elite, Honors, Prime, Monarch, or Imperial levels, and you must have a Nevada-registered vehicle to be eligible.

Free Parking for Tourists and Non-Locals

Tourists visiting the Las Vegas Strip can find free parking at several places, such as:

  • Treasure Island
  • SAHARA Las Vegas
  • Circus Circus
  • Rio Las Vegas

Planet Hollywood gives the first hour of parking free to all visitors, no matter where they come from.

Casinos Offering Free Parking to All Guests

Treasure Island, SAHARA Las Vegas, Circus Circus, and Rio Las Vegas provide free self-parking to all their guests, no matter if they are residents or have rewards points. Wynn Las Vegas offers complimentary self-parking for the first three hours of a visit; after that, daily parking costs $25.

These policies make parking fees much more affordable for both hotel guests and visitors alike.
