A Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officer was injured during a traffic stop when a vehicle crashed into a group of unmarked police cars.
The crash occurred at around 12:10 p.m. near Tropicana Avenue and Toorey Pines Drive, where police officers were conducting a traffic stop involving a wanted person. During the traffic stop, a vehicle that was not involved in the scene crashed into the unmarked police cars, resulting in one officer being taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the LVMPD.
